Andrew grew up in southern Ontario and has always been active in sports. After life in Toronto, he joined the Navy where he spent 12 rewarding years in service to his country seeing the world from a very unique perspective balancing work responsibilities with running a PT program for the ship's company... which somehow managed to always include burpees on the flight deck under the sun sailing through the Mediterranean.

In 2017 he graduated from the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition where he obtained a diploma in Holistic Nutrition with the accompanying professional title Registered Holistic Nutritionist™.

An accomplished ultra-marathoner and avid adventurer. He has run the rocky cliffs of the maritimes, hiked all 250 miles of the John Muir Trail and over 1000 miles of the Pacific Crest Trail, explored the mountains of Europe and the jungles of Sri Lanka with many stops in between. Always seeking adventure and looking for ways to explore the human experience and share it with others.

Adam’s love for the outdoors began when he joined a community camping group in Montreal at the age of 11. During that time he hiked throughout New England and upper state New York and forged long-lasting memories and friendships. Since then Adam has explored trails on Vancouver Island, in Algonquin, Canyon lands, the Grand Canyon and, his first 14,000 footer at Pikes Peak in Colorado. Outdoor experiences taught and continue teach him how to connect with a deeper part of his spirit. He has participated in numerous outdoor races ranging from triathlons to multidisciplinary relays and obstacle races.

Adam’s personal practices include Yoga, CrossFit, Breathwork, Meditation and Mindfulness, Cold/Heat Exposure, Foundation Training, Slacklining, Intermittent Fasting, and most recently, Natural Movement (MovNat). He is currently completing a Master’s of Science in Space Studies with a focus on human performance in extreme environments. Outside of his work days at the Canadian Space Operations Centre in the RCAF, you can find him running barefoot with his dog Rootbeer on the Ottawa/Gatineau trails.
